About Cornerstone Masonry

Cornerstone Masonry developed from the fascination I have always had for stonework. From the days I took an entry level position as a plumber’s helper, I used to drive my boss crazy always talking about how much I admired various stonework as we traveled between jobs. The desire to learn the art of stone masonry began to stir in me, but I had neither the means nor the knowledge to pursue my ambition.

After years of grunt work and dead-end jobs, I voiced my disgust to my family and wanted to give up even trying. The very next day I found a position as a mason’s apprentice. I found the never-ending puzzle of shaping rocks to fit together and the physical nature of masonry both challenging and rewarding. I have finally found my career of choice and from this passion comes Cornerstone Masonry.

With a new family to support and the need for a flexible schedule allowing me to observe Biblical Holy Days I ventured out on my own. Starting Cornerstone Masonry was a big leap of faith, which has proven to be very successful. Calls keep coming in from people needing masonry projects and now I have many satisfied customers to show for it. It brings me great joy to see my customers satisfied with their home improvement projects.
